Dr. Makrygiannis Panagiotis received a degree in Mathematics (majoring in Applied Mathematics) in 1998, a Master’s Degree in Information in Education, in 2005 and a PhD in Mathematics. “Alternative Teaching of Algebraic Problems with Multiple Approaches in a Computational Environment”. in 2014 from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. During the years 1999-2011 he worked as a Laboratory Associate in the General Department of Mathematics of the School of Technological Applications of the former T.E.I. Piraeus as in the years 2014-2015 of the former A.E.I. Piraeus T.T.. He took part in a series of Programs managed by the Special Funds and Research Account of the former A.E.I. Piraeus T.T. from 1998 to 2016

Since 2014 as Permanent Teaching & Laboratory Staff and in particular Laboratory Teaching Staff (L.D.I.P.) of the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Western Attica, he is a teacher in Theoretical and Laboratory Courses, either in the relevant Department or in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He is a member of the research group of the Laboratory of Applied Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence of the University of Western Attica. His research interests are focused on the following areas: Mathematics Teaching, Computational Mathematics, Matrix Analysis, Applied Linear Algebra and Artificial Intelligence. He has published papers in international journals and quality conferences concerning the above areas
