Dr. George Mageirou is a Civil Engineer of the National Technical University of Athens. He has conducted M.Sc. in Structural Design and Analysis of Structures and PhD in the School of Civil Engineering of NTUA, Division of Structural Engineering, in the scientific area of geometry nonlinearity in metal structures. He has specialized in advanced analysis and design of structures using computer technology, steel structures, stability of structures, the method of finite element for structures with non-linear behaviour and computational mechanics.
