Bloutsos Aristeidis

Aristeidis A. Bloutsos is Civil Engineer (2004), holding MSc (2005) and PhD (2012) from the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Patras. He has 15 years of teaching experience (TEI Patras, ASPAITE, HOU, UNIWA, NTUA) in several courses like Hydraulics, Hydraulics & Flood Protection Infrastructures, Environmental and Underground Hydraulics, River Hydrodynamics and Modelling etc. and has supervised more than 25 Diploma theses. During the past years, he has written lecturer notes for use by students. He is also a collaboration member of the Hellenic Open University (HOU). He has participated in 11 research projects on water and air quality monitoring, applied hydraulics, liquid and gaseous wastewater disposal and flood assessment under climate change conditions. His research interests are focused on environmental hydraulics, the study of buoyant jets, water and air quality measurement. He is author or co-author of 14 publications in international journals, 36 publications in conference proceedings, 15 technical reports and 1 book.
